The Chauraha Secondary School is located about 80 KM west of district Headquarters of Baglung District in baglung bazar. The parents of most of the students in the school are small or low income farmers. This is a mixed society Brahmin, Chetri, Magar, Gurung and Dalits. The school has 49% male students, 51% female students out of which 14% are female Dalits and 9 % male Dalits of total male students have studying in the school. COPPADES has provided 5 sets of computers, one printer, one network hub, one printer and network cables. COPPADES also has provided computer training to Mr.Indra Sing Budathoki as a teacher. Computers were operated there using electricity supplied from the transmission line provided by Nepal Electrical Authority (NEA). |
