Jana Kalyan Secondary School is located at a distance of about 13 KM south of District headquarters of Lamjung District in Beshisahar. Students have to walk as much as 2 hours to come to study in tis school. There is a mixed society of Brahman, Chetri, Gurung, Magar and dalits. The school has 55% male students and 45% female students. Out of the total female students 10% and out of the total of male students 14% come from the dalit communities.
