This program is implemented around the Middle Marsyangdi Hydropower Project (MMHP). The target groups are the local communities and community based organizations in the MMHP affected area. The aim of this project is to build the capacity of local communities by enabling them to provide support and take benifits from the project implemented in their locality while being responsible about the development activities allowing them to suceed. The Sagun program has worked on enhancement of leadership capacity, awareness on health, awareness on HIV AIDS and other diseases, awareness on the impact of big projects on social, cultural and economic fabric of the local communities and strengthening local capacity to mitigate them. The project has been extremely rewarding with regards to creating a win win situation among various stakeholders around the project.  This project in implemented in 12 VDCs in Lamjung District identified as affected by MMHP. COPPADES has partnered with SAGUN Project of CARE Nepal in this project
